Class Descriptions

​This 1.5 hour training outlines the process and requirements for shipping purchase files to CHFA (after closing). Training does not cover document delivery process.

This 1.5 hour training will provide information on the submission of files and clearing suspense conditions to CHFA.

This one hour training is for existing Participating Lenders and will outline the requirements and documents for the Final Document process, after CHFA purchases the loan.

This one hour training is geared toward closers and funders and will outline how to complete CHFA closing documents and the requirements for closing CHFA loans.

CHFA is pleased to introduce the CHFA FirstGenerationsm and CHFA FirstGeneration Plussm Programs to increase access to homeownership for underserved populations. With CHFA’s focus on creating more homeownership opportunities for communities of color and other underserved populations, we’ve learned that many of these individuals are less familiar with the homeownership journey as their parents do not have a history of homeownership.

Programmatic Benefits and Qualifications

The CHFA FirstGeneration Programs are home loan programs exclusively for First-generation Homebuyers. Eligible borrowers have access to a CHFA Second Mortgage of up to $25,000, regardless of first mortgage loan amount.
