Please remember that payments are due by the first of each month and late fees may be assessed if payment is received after the 16th of each month.
Always include your loan number when submitting your payment.
Important notice for home mortgage customers: CHFA no longer accepts payments at its offices.

Do you want to save time and postage every month? Sign up for CHFA's Automatic Payment Program (APP). Once you sign up with APP, we will automatically deduct your mortgage payment from your checking or savings account each month. Please contact CHFA Loan Servicing at 855.587.8655 to have a form sent to you.

CHFA is offering a new automatic payment plan to help with your monthly budgeting. Unlike our budget drafting option (below), this option does not reduce your mortgage term, but it also does not require making a monthly payment in advance.
Here's how it works:
- Your total monthly mortgage payment is electronically withdrawn from your checking or savings account in two separate increments. Each withdrawal will be one half of your total monthly mortgage payment.
- You choose from two options for withdrawal date: the first half payment can be withdrawn on the 1st or 5th of the month, and the second half can be withdrawn on the 10th or the 15th of each month. If you do not select a preference, the payments will be withdrawn on the 1st and the 10th.
If you would like to sign up for the program, fill out the form, selecting “Semi-Monthly Draft,” then email it in with a scanned copy of a voided check, to set up the ACH payments.
Download a sign up form. Please print and complete the form, then return it to CHFA Loan Servicing using the directions on the form.
With Western Union Quick Collect, you can pay your CHFA mortgage loan securely and receive proof of payment in minutes. Western Union offices are located in many of the stores and businesses you regularly frequent.
Pay your mortgage in three easy steps:
- Call 1.800.238.5772 to find the nearest Western Union/Quick Collect Service Center.
- Bring your cash payment to the Western Union Service Center and advise the agent you are a Dovenmuehle Quick Collect Customer.
- Use the special password “WOODFIELD, IL” in order to get a special rate. Don’t forget to include your loan number!
