Developed by TWG Development, Maxfield Heights includes 72 apartments for older adults aged 55 and over with incomes between 30 percent and 60 percent of the Area Median Income (AMI). It is the first Housing Tax Credit development in Rifle for older adults, and it includes design features and amenities to serve individuals with hearing, vision, and mobility challenges. It is located across the street from the Rifle Senior Center.
CHFA was proud to support Maxfield Heights with an award of $1,194,251 in federal 9 percent Housing Tax Credits in 2019. Additionally, CHFA provided $1,850,000 in permanent financing alongside a $600,000 Capital Magnet Fund loan and a $150,000 Capital Magnet Fund grant in 2022.
