Home Builders Foundation (HBF) is a nonprofit organization based in Englewood whose mission is to build independence, provide opportunities, and elevate lives for individuals and families with disabilities. Each year, HBF gathers builders, contractors, remodelers, tradespeople, and volunteers for its annual Blitz Build to complete home modification projects across greater Denver. CHFA has had the privilege of supporting Home Builders Foundation and the Blitz Build for more than eight years, including through sponsorships, Direct Effect Awards, and by mobilizing CHFA volunteers to participate in a home modification project each year.

In 2023, Home Builders Foundation was selected as the beneficiary for CHFA’s annual David W. Herlinger Golf Tournament, which raises proceeds each year to benefit a Colorado nonprofit whose work aligns with CHFA’s mission to invest in affordable housing and community development. In total, the 2023 tournament raised $85,000 to support the work of HBF.
