Do you suspect gang activity on your property? Come to this webinar to better understand indicators and levels of gang involvement. We will cover current gang trends, differences between Denver gangs and hybrid crews, and differences between gang versus tagging crew graffiti.
The webinar will be led by Johnnie Williams and Felipe Perez, former gang members who now work for Gang Rescue and Support Project (GRASP). GRASP is a peer-run intervention program that works with youth who are at-risk of gang involvement or are presently active in gangs, helps families of gang victims, and serves as a youth advocate.
Established in 1991 after a tragic “drive-by” shooting death of a teen, GRASP is primarily run by ex-gang members who broke free of the gang lifestyle and built GRASP into a highly respected and successful program of Denver Youth Program, a nonprofit organization that for over 52 years has helped kids to better futures through one-on-one mentoring.
If you know a kid who’s ready to get out of a gang, call GRASP at 303.777.3117.
This session will be recorded and available in the Attendee Hub (https://cvent.me/QVAm9W) until February 28, 2025.
