introduction of affordable housing credit improvement act of 2025
The Affordable Housing Credit Improvement Act of 2025 (AHCIA) is expected to be introduced in the House of Representatives this week and in the Senate later this month.
CHFA is glad to report that more than half of Colorado’s Congressional Delegation have signed on as original co-sponsors of the AHCIA that would expand and strengthen the federal Housing Tax Credit.
Please join us in thanking our bipartisan and bicameral co-sponsors of the bill!
- Rep. Diana DeGette (D-CO-1)
- Rep. Joe Neguse (D-CO-2)
- Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO-6)
- Rep. Brittany Pettersen (D-CO-7)
- Rep. Gabe Evans (R-CO-8)
- Senator Michael Bennet (D)
CHFA is continuing outreach to members of the Colorado delegation who have not signed on as co-sponsors. We will be circulating a letter of support outlining the impact of the Housing Tax Credit and the need for increased resources in Colorado with a list of organizational supporters. Thank you to those who have already signed on in support!
If you would like to add your organization’s name, please complete this form.
Gaining support from all members of the delegation is critical as Congress continues negotiations on an important tax bill. Please reach out to members of the delegation who have not signed on as a co-sponsor to urge their support of the AHCIA.
